Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A purchase agreement for the parking lot at the existing Rochester Senior Center will be voted on by the City Council Monday night.

The $635,000 price was negotiated last year.

The Senior Center will use the proceeds to help pay its share of the new facility being built at the Rec Center site.The parking lot is expected to continue serving the existing Senior Center.  

The city has been soliciting proposals for the property, which will become vacant when the new center opens.The local Children’s Museum is among those expressing interest in the site.
