Mike Dougherty with Minnesota Department of Transportation provided a mid-summer update on the major highway projects in southeastern Minnesota Wednesday morning during his regular appearance on the Rochester Today Show with Andy Brownell on KROC-AM.

It's been fairly busy summer in the Rochester area for road projects, and MNDOT Mike noted that a number of the major projects are nearing completion, including the new roundabout on Highway 14 at Eyota and the resurfacing of Highway 63 south of Highway 52 in Rochester. In the video at the top of this post, Mike provided updates on those projects and the projects that will be taking place during the second half of the summer and into the early fall, particularly one that will shut down Highway 42 from Eyota to Plainview after the 4th of July Holiday.

MNDOT Mike's next radio appearance on the Rochester Today Show is scheduled for July 29th from 10 to 11 a.m. on KROC-AM.
