Rochester Today with Tom Ostrom: Clergy Abuse Settlement Applauded

The settlement announced Monday involving clergy sex abuse was among the topics covered during the Rochester Today show with Tom Ostrom and Andy Brownell Tuesday morning on KROC-AM. 

Tom and Andy applauded the settlement, which specifically addressed the claims of a man who was molested decades ago by a former Rochester priest, but also incorporates 17 protocols designed to better protect children and identify offending clergy. Hopefully, the agreement will prevent future crimes and promote a process that will allow the victims to feel a sense that some level of justice has been achieved.
