Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman crashed her car into a tree in the yard of a Byron home Wednesday afternoon just days after her license was revoked because of a DUI conviction. And now, she is facing a new DUI case.

49-year-old Laura Jackson left the scene in another vehicle but an Olmsted County deputy sent to check on the crash located the car and pulled it over. He arrested Jackson and a breath test showed she had a blood/alcohol level of .17.

That was about the same as the test she took Oct 28th when she was arrested in Rochester. In that case, she was spotted slumped over behind the steering wheel of her car in the Silver Lake shopping center parking lot.  Police say she had her 10-year-old child in the car at the time.

She pleaded guilty two days later and was placed on probation.
