Rochester Woman Hurt in Wabasha County Crash
Kellogg, MN (KROC-AM News) - A three-vehicle crash in Wabasha County sent a Rochester woman to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
The State Patrol says 23-year-old Rylee Franco was transported to St. Marys Hospital after the car she was in was smashed into by a minivan at the junction of Highway 61 and Highway 60 near Kellogg. The crash occurred around 2:45 PM when a minivan turning off Highway 61 onto Highway 60 collided with a car traveling south on Highway 61. The minivan then crashed into a car waiting at the stop sign on Highway 60.
Franco was a passenger in the car, which was being driven by 58-year-old Darilyn Franco of Dodge Center. The driver of the minivan was identified as 76-year-old Glenn Holman of Faribault. He, along with his 72-year-old female passenger, the 45-year-old Red Wing woman driving the other car and Dodge Center woman escaped the crash without injury. The State Patrol described Franco’s injuries as non-life threatening.
