Rochester Woman Gets Jail Time After Nearly 1.5 Pound Meth Bust

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman has been given a jail sentence for convictions involving a significant drug bust, credit card fraud and felony shoplifting.

According to Olmsted County court records, 33-year-old Sieherra Leah Colglazier entered into a plea agreement earlier this month and admitted to first-degree drug sales, financial transaction card fraud and felony theft. She was recently sentenced to 200 days in jail but was given credit for the 99 days she has already spent in custody.

Colglazier was also placed on probation for five years and was given a stayed 85-month prison sentence that she could be required to serve if she fails to abide by the terms of her probation.

500 Grams of Meth Seized

The felony drug conviction stems from the seizure of 500 grams of methamphetamine by Rochester police earlier this year. The criminal complaint Kasson in the case indicates Colglazier was wanted on a felony warrant when she was spotted in the area of Barlow Plaza in northwest Rochester on May 5. A Rochester Police Department detective then observed her in a vehicle with a man and activity consistent with an illegal drug transaction.

The court document says that led to a traffic stop of the vehicle after a K9 alerted to the presence of drugs.

Kasson Man Also Charged In Case

The man with Colglazier in the vehicle, 36-year-old Mark Cody Alzamora of Kasson, was also charged with first-degree drug sales and first-degree drug possession. His criminal case is still pending.

Credit Card Fraud Conviction

Colglazier's credit card fraud conviction involves her use of a stolen credit card to make more than $900 in purchases in October of last year. The criminal complaint in that case states that the stolen credit card was used to make a total of more than $2,300 in purchases, including gasoline purchases involving nearly two dozen vehicles.

She also admitted to the theft of more than $1,000 in merchandise from a Rochester store in late February of this year.
