Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman survived a wild crash near Bamber Valley school.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year-old Susan Fogarty was driving in the 3000 block of Bamber Valley Rd SW around 10:30 PM Friday when her vehicle left the road. It traveled 150 yards in a ditch before hitting a field drive. The vehicle then went airborne for about 50 feet and rolled several times before coming to a rest on the passenger side.

Fogarty had to be cut from the wreckage of the 2019 Hyundai Kona. She was taken to St Marys Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Because alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the crash, a blood sample was taken.
