Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who stopped for one beer at a rural Olmsted County bar Thursday left the car running and it was gone when he came out - three hours later.

The 62-year-old man left the car with the keys inside in the parking lot when he went into Shar’s Country Palace & Bar and ordered a beer around 6 pm.

The man came out around 9:30 and it was no longer there.

The man described the car as a silver 2001 Lexus model that’s worth $3,000. The man told an Olmsted County deputy he doesn’t own the car. He said he was working on it for a customer.

News update:  Rochester police arrest shooting victim as shooting suspect.
