Rural Rochester Home Sustains Considerable Fire Damage

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A rural Rochester house sustained considerable damage in an overnight fire.

Rochester fire crews were sent to 3643 Hidden Cove NE just after midnight and found flames coming from the roof of the two-story home. The homeowner told the firefighters “there was fire in the attic of the master bedroom “

The fire was completely extinguished in about an hour.

RFD says half of the attic space suffered heavy fire damage and the loss was estimated at $100,000.

No injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.
