
SE Minnesota Man Who Drives Into Accident Scene Arrested For DUI

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man who drove into the scene of a serious traffic wreck in rural Olmsted County was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The Friday night wreck involved a semi-truck and a car that collided at the intersection of Highway 30 and County Rd 1 in SE Olmsted County. An 18-year-old from Hayfield was driving the car and suffered serious injuries.
The sheriff’s office says deputies and state troopers were still working at the scene around 10:00 PM when a vehicle drove up and eventually stopped.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a breath test showed he had a blood/alcohol concentration of .08. He was identified as 41-year-old Michael Boelter of Wykoff.
