Second Guilty Plea in Rochester Armed Robbery Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 2nd man has pleaded guilty to a felony charge stemming from an armed robbery at a residence near downtown Rochester in late December.
20-year-old Lam Yieb today entered a guilty plea to a simple robbery charge for his involvement in the crime. He and 17-year-old Goch Khot were arrested after the victim recognized Yieb as one of the 2 men who threatened him with a knife before robbing him of a phone charger and $300 cash.
Khot earlier entered a plea in juvenile court and was sentenced to an adolescent treatment program and probation. Yieb is scheduled to be sentenced in adult court on June 4th.
A 3rd teenager is suspected of setting up the victim to be robbed but has yet to be charged in the case.
