
Mayo Helicopter Responds to Semi Truck Rollover On Interstate 90 in Southeast Minnesota
The state crash report says the semi was traveling west when it left the freeway and subsequently rolled
Dexter, MN (KROC-AM News)- A truck driver was taken to a hospital following a rollover crash on Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota.

He was the only person involved in the crash. The State Patrol responded to the rollover involving the semi truck shortly after 8:30 Tuesday evening.
A medical helicopter was also called to the crash site.

The rollover happened three miles southwest of the I-90/hwy. 16 interchange in Dexter.
The state crash report says the semi was traveling west when it left the freeway and subsequently rolled.
60-year-old Ibrahem Mertami of Noblesville, IN was driving the semi. He was brought to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
The crash report does say whether or not the trucker was airlifted or transported by ground ambulance.
Mertami was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report indicates.
The Mower County Sheriff’s Office, Mayo Clinic Ambulance, Mayo Air, Dexter Fire/Rescue and Pulver Towing also responded to the rollover crash.
