Senate Resolution Honors Rochester Area Restaurant Owner
Mantorville, MN (KROC-AM News) - A well-known Rochester area businessman was honored today through a resolution introduced in the Minnesota Senate.
Rochester State Senator David Senjem introduced the resolution commending Don Pappas for his decades of work with the Hubble House in Mantorville.
“I have an official Minnesota Senate resolution honoring Mr. Don Pappas for his work at The Hubbell House – a gem of southeastern Minnesota and a true Minnesota treasure,” said Senator David Senjem, the author of the resolution. “For decades, Don Pappas and his family have made The Hubbell House a stalwart establishment in Mantorville and the surrounding communities.
The Hubbell House was built in 1854 and is included on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been owned by the Pappas family since 1946 and Don Pappas has been overseeing its operations since 1986. Senator Senjem presented the official resolution to Pappas during an event at the restaurant this afternoon.
