
Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Suspect After a Issuing Shelter in Place Order East of Rochester
Update: Suspect in Wabasha County Murder Triggered Emergency Alert Near Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A situation that required a large law enforcement presence and a shelter-in-place order east of Rochester has been resolved.
So far limited information is available. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office announced the situation around 11:40 Wednesday night.
Captain Tim Parkin said shortly before 5:00 Thursday morning that the situation had been resolved.

Arrest Made After Large Law Enforcement Presence, Shelter-in-Place Order in Area of Olmsted County Trailer Park
Authorities were asking the public to avoid the area of Chester Trailer Park, which is near 70th Ave SE and Olmsted County Road 9.
Chester residents in the area of the law enforcement operation were asked to shelter in place.
Parkin says the resolution of the situation involved law enforcement taking a suspect into custody. The suspect’s identity has not yet been released.
Details regarding the events that triggered the situation are also not yet available. Authorities plan to release more information later Thursday.
