Slick Conditions Expected for Your Afternoon Commute

Another round of light snow will move through the area this afternoon and could create some slick conditions for your afternoon or evening commute. Snow shows are expected to begin this afternoon around 3:00 PM and continue into the evening. Minor accumulation is expected but there will probably be enough snow to make travel a little difficult.

2 to 3 inches of snow is forecast to the west in the Albert Lea area and a band of 4-6 inches of snow is expected to develop across areas of south-central and southwestern Minnesota.

The weather this weekend should be uneventful with a partly cloudy sky expected on both Saturday and Sunday.  Look for a high of 27 on Saturday and 37 on Sunday.
