SnapChat Post Leads to Arrest of Winona Teenager
Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Winona teenager is expected to face a terroristic threats charge for a social media post.
Winona Police say the SnapChat message posted Wednesday evening and referenced a possible school shooting. The 15-year-old student responsible for the post was located and arrested without incident shortly after 7:30 Thursday morning. Police Chief Paul Bostrack says, at this point, there is no indication anyone else was involved.
Police were alerted to the allegedly threatening message by another student at the Winona Middle School.
