There was some movement across the four volleyball classes in the latest Minnesota High School Volleyball Association's state rankings this past week.

Southeast Minnesota remained well represented in the rankings this week with four Section 1 teams ranked in Class A, and three Section 1 teams ranked in Class AA, Class AAA, and Class AAAA.

Class A Minnesota State Volleyball Rankings

The always tough Section 1 in Class A has four teams ranked once again, with some movement from a week ago. Bethlehem Academy fell from #3 to #4 even after taking down #7 Kenyon-Wanamingo in five and sweeping Medford last week. The Mabel-Canton Cougars remained at #5, while Kenyon-Wanamingo moved up one spot from #7 to #6.

The Spring Grove Lions fell one spot from #9 to #10. It will be a Top-10 matchup on Tuesday when Spring Grove and Mabel-Canton meet up for the first time of the season in a big Southeast Conference battle.

Bethlehem Academy, Mabel-Canton, Kenyon-Wanamingo, and Spring Grove will all be at the Class A Showcase this weekend along with other Top 10 teams including Mayer Lutheran, Minneota, Russell-Tyler Ruthton, BGMR, and MACCRAY, along with other Class A squads from across Minnesota.

Class AA Minnesota State Volleyball Rankings

The Top 4 slots remained the same from a week ago, but Cannon Falls made a big jump, going from #8 to #5 with wins over #9 Caledonia, Goodhue, and Lake City last week.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa stayed at #4 while Caledonia slid down one spot from #9 to #10 after the loss to Cannon Falls. The Warriors also beat Lewiston-Altura in four last week.

Z-M, Cannon Falls, and Caledonia will all be at the Class AA Showcase this weekend with other Top-10 ranked teams in Pequot Lakes, Nove Classical, Jackson County Central, and Watertown Mayer.

Jackson County Central fell from #5 to #7, Annandale jumped from #10 to #7, while Watertown Mayer fell from #7 to #9.

Class AAA Minnesota State Volleyball Rankings

Marshall, Kasson-Mantorville, Willmar, and Stewartville stayed in the Top 4 this week in the Class AAA rankings. Byron fell from #4 to #6 after losing at home to Stewartville last week.

It is a Top-5 showdown in HVL action Tuesday night in Kasson when the KoMets take on the Stewartville Tigers. Kasson-Mantorville will also battle #12 ranked New Prague next week.

Holy Angels moved from #6 to #5, Grand Rapids jumped from #9 to #7, Benilde-St. Margaret's state data #8, Alexandria fell from #7 to #9, and Delano is new to the Top 10 in the #10 spot.

Class AAAA Minnesota State Volleyball Rankings

The Top 5 remained the same in Class AAAA as Northfield continues its impressive start to the season. Wayzata, Lakeville North, East Ridge, and Champlin Park rounded out the Top 5.

Chaska jumped one spot from #7 to #6, and Lakeville South moved from #10 to #7. Rogers fell from #6 to #8, Rosemount fell from #8 to #9, and Forest lake fell from #9 to #10.

Rochester Mayo received votes once again in this week's rankings but didn't crack the Top 10. The Spartans slotted in at #12.

Some have closed now, but I checked out the Food Networks website, the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives website, and TVFoodMaps.com to find all of the Minnesota restaurants that have been featured on their channel in the past and found these 37 (in no particular order) that are still open.
