Southeast Minnesota Crash Sends Motorcyclist to Hospital
Hokah, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcyclist was brought to a hospital after crashing in southeast Minnesota Tuesday evening.
The crash happened along Hwy. 26 in Houston County between La Crescent and Brownsville. The State Patrol responded to it shortly before 7:45 p.m.
The state crash report indicates the motorcycle was traveling south on the two-lane highway when it crashed near the intersection with Brookwood Dr. The operator has been identified as 51-year-old Shane Pete Marcoux of Port Edwards, WI.
He was taken to a nearby hospital with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Office, La Crescent Police Department, Hookah Fire Department and Tri State Ambulance also responded to the crash.
