Southeast Minnesota Crash Sends Three People to Hospital
La Crescent, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash in southeast Minnesota sent three people to the hospital Tuesday night.
The State Patrol responded to the crash at an intersection in La Crescent. The two-vehicle crash was reported shortly before 9:10 p.m.
The state crash report indicates an SUV traveling west on 14th St. and minivan that was eastbound lanes of Hwy. 16 collided in the intersection of the two streets. The van driver has been identified as 28-year-old John Paul Troendle of Caledonia and the van was being driven by 48-year-old Mary Irene Warmkagathje of St. Charles.
Both drivers along with the lone passenger in the SUV, identified as 24-year-old Jasmine Nicole Troendle from Caledonia, were taken to a hospital in nearby La Crosse with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Everyone involved was buckled up and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the report says. The La Crescent Police Department, La Crescent Fire Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Tri-State Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle collision.
