St. Charles Woman Injured in Spring Valley Crash

Spring Valley, MN (KROC-AM News) - A St. Charles woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic crash in Fillmore County.

The State Patrol says the crash occurred just east of Spring Valley around 4 PM. 55-year-old Pamela Poppenhagen was driving a small SUV east on Highway 16 when her vehicle collided with an eastbound car driven by 29-year-old Cody Garness of Canton.

He was not hurt, but Poppenhagen was transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The State Patrol says both drivers were using seat belts.
