State Patrol Releases Photo of Hit and Run Suspect Vehicle
Lake Crystal, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is disseminating a photo of the SUV suspected of being involved in a fatal hit and run crash Monday afternoon near Mankato.
Ironically, the image of the larger Ford or Lincoln SUV was captured by the dash cam on a police vehicle as the driver was passing by a convenience store along Highway 60 around the time of the deadly incident. Officials say the SUV was involved in causing the driver of another SUV to lose control and crash into a ditch near Lake Crystal. Investigators have indicated there may have been contact between the two vehicles in what may have been an act of road rage. A passenger and the second SUV, 20-year-old Jalynn Williams of Mankato, was ejected during the rollover and was fatally injured.
State Patrol investigators would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle and are asking that anyone with information that would assist in locating and identifying that person to contact the State Patrol at 507-344-2750.
