State Patrol Responds to Tractor-Pickup Crash in Fillmore County

Fountain, MN (KROC-AM News) - Three people were involved in an injury collision between a farm tractor and a pickup in Fillmore County this morning.

The State Patrol says the collision occurred on southbound Highway 52 just south of Fountain around 6:20 a.m. The farm machinery and the pickup were both in the southbound lane and apparently, the pickup crashed into the back of the tractor.

The names of the three people involved in the crash have not been released. the State Patrol says a 63-year-old Preston man was operating the tractor, while a 65-year-old man from Canton was driving the pickup with a 65-year-old Canton woman in the passenger seat.

The State Patrol also has not released information concerning the extent of their injuries.
