State Patrol-Stewartville Woman Injured in Alcohol Involved Crash

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is indicating alcohol was involved in an injury crash early Saturday morning near Rochester.
The preliminary report on the incident says 21-year-old Taylor Renee Benson of Zumbrota was driving north on Highway 52 southeast of Rochester when her car left the roadway and crashed into the ditch. She was not injured, but her passenger was transported to St. Marys Hospital. The State Patrol described the injuries suffered by 22-year-old Celina Sheda of Stewartville as non-life-threatening.
The crash was reported just before 3 AM on northbound Highway 52 about 4 miles north of Chatfield. The State Patrol report lists alcohol as a possible contributing factor involving the driver of the car.
