Teen Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into Tree at Southeast Minnesota Intersection
Goodview, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage woman was hurt after the vehicle she was driving struck a tree in southeast Minnesota.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. The driver, who is from the Twin Cities, was the only occupant in the vehicle.
First responders were dispatched to the crash at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and 44th St. in Goodview. The crash report indicates a compact car left southbound Hwy. 61 and hit the tree
18-year-old Selah Belle Hunt of Circle Pines, MN has been identified as the driver. She was taken to a Winona hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The young woman was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
The Goodview Police Department, Winona Police Department, Winona Fire Department and Winona Area Ambulance also responded to the vehicle-tree collision.
