Teen Hospitalized After Crashing Vehicle into Median in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a teenager in Rochester Saturday night.
The crash occurred at the Hwy. 52/Hwy. 14 East interchange around 11:30 p.m. The preliminary crash investigation indicates a Sedan was traveling south on Hwy. 52 when it collided with the median.
The driver is described as a 16-year-old girl. She was transported from the crash scene by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital.
The State Patrol crash report did not disclose the severity of the girl’s injuries. The girl, whose hometown is not listed in the crash report, was wearing her seatbelt.
Hwy. 52 was described as dry at the time of the wreck. Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service also responded to the single-vehicle-crash. The teenage girl was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
