If you want to learn how to catch more fish, talk to Tackle Terry Tuma, (T3), as he is affectionately known. A legendary angler, Terry is well known nationally as one of North America’s most accomplished multi-species anglers and among the most prolific fishing communicators in the industry. Terry’s credentials include most recently, induction into the “Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame” in 2017 and previously, admission into the “National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame” for “tireless dedication to promoting fishing and educating the fishing public.” In December, 2017, the St. Paul Ice Fishing and Winter Sports Show dedicated its 25th Anniversary Celebration to Terry Tuma. He was specially recognized for “incredible generosity in donating his time to promote this annual event at every opportunity.” Vilma Fraguada, the organizations’ G.S. Media Events President cited Tuma saying, “Every year our customers travel near and far to listen to Terry’s latest techniques that will help them master the sport of ice fishing.”

Each year Terry’s multimedia coverage draws millions of anglers with wide visibility on websites, blogs, podcasts, YouTube, video sites, and social networks such as Twitter. Terry’s educational seminars have gained a huge following and he has been featured on TV shows including Minnesota Bound and Due North Outdoors. His weekly and special request programming airs across many national and local stations, now exceeding 150 monthly programs, and attracting listeners from all over the country. Terry is on the promotional staff at Outdoor News Publications and his writings appear in notable print media sites including Outdoor News and multiple sporting and informational websites.

For the past several years, and currently, Terry participates in “Holes for Heroes,” an ice fishing event honoring the Armed Forces and their families and open to the public. Last year this event was simulcast to Iraq and Afghanistan so military personnel serving there could watch this event.
