The Market for Used CB Radios and Legos?

The conversation is always unpredictable when Steve Lange from Rochester Magazine joins Tracy McCray and Andy Brownell for the Rochester Today Show on KROC-AM, and Wednesday morning's program was not the exception.

Do you remember when CB radios were all the rage? Steve, Tracy and Andy are old enough to be able to know the meaning of the phrases "Bear in the Air" and "Bear with Ears," but Steve only recently got rid of his vintage citizen band transceiver. You won't believe how much he got for it on eBay.

The show also hit on the surprisingly lucrative market for used Legos. Steve's middle school-age son is divesting himself of his extensive Lego collection and, if the prices being paid on eBay are indicative, he'll do quite well.  If Steve's estimate is right, he might make enough to cover what I paid for my first car!
