Thieves Take Minnesota High School Golf Team’s Clubs

New Prague, MN (Learfield Wire Services) - The Le Sueur-Henderson High School golf team had to use borrowed clubs when it competed at the Section AA tournament Friday.

Someone had taken the team's clubs from a pro-shop last week.  Seven of the 12 members had their clubs stolen.  In one case, the clubs had been in the golfer's family for three generations.  The golf bags were recovered, but not the clubs.  The team advances to play next week and hopes the clubs are recovered by then.
