Nevis, MN (Learfield News Service)  - An officer-involved shooting that left three people dead and a deputy wounded is under investigation in the northern Minnesota city of Nevis.

The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office reported shots were fired Thursday night in multiple locations following a chase.

One person was reportedly found dead in a home daycare and two others were located shot to death on a rural road. The deputy's patrol vehicle crashed into a snowbank and he was taken to Fargo hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

No other details are being released at this time.
