Three Found Dead at Popular Minnesota Resort

Breezy Point, MN (KROC-AM News)-A death investigation is underway at a popular Minnesota resort.

A news release issued by the Breezy Point Police Department says officers responded to a call for assistance shortly after 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. The call came from an area with a golf course, restaurant and cabins that are part of Breezy Point resort.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found three deceased people. Officials say the preliminary investigation indicates there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The names of deceased people will not be released until their bodies are identified and their next of kin are notified, the news release says.

The investigation is described as active and ongoing. The Minnesota BCA is among the agencies assisting Breezy Point Police.
