Timberwolves Outlast Wizards in 132-129
Washington, DC (Learfield) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves held off one of the hotter teams in the N-B-A Friday night, 132-129.
That double-overtime victory broke a five-game winning streak for the Washington Wizards. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 27 points and took down 10 rebounds for the Wolves. Zach LaVine added 25.
Minnesota won back-to-back games for the first time in almost seven weeks. The Utah Jazz are in Minneapolis for a game tonight.
