Trial Date Set For Man Charged in Rochester Double-Homicide Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A trial date has been set in a local double-murder case.
Court documents indicate jury selection is scheduled to begin the week of May 20th for the trial of 56-year-old Glenn Johnson. He recently entered not guilty pleas to first-degree murder charges connected to the deaths of 57-year-old Phillip Hicks and 45-year-old Eric Flemmings.
Johnson is accused of fatally stabbing both men following an altercation at the Salvation Army’s Castleview Apartments on February 17th. All three men were neighbors and lived in the downtown Rochester apartment building.
Johnson is scheduled to appear at a pre-trial hearing on May 16th. He remains in jail on $3-million bail.
