Trial Date Set For Rochester Attempted Murder Suspect
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A trial date has been set for a Rochester man charged with first and second-degree attempted murder.
Jury selection for 27-year-old Iman Iman’s trial is scheduled to begin October 26th. In addition to the attempted murder charges, Iman also faces first and second-degree assault and a weapons-related charge.
He and another man are accused of being involved in a shooting in August of last year at the Meadow Park Apartments that left a man paralyzed from the neck down. The criminal complaint says a witness identified Iman as the person who shot the victim, while the second man allegedly assaulted him in a hallway of the apartment building.
Iman also faces attempted charges stemming from a drive-by shooting last year. He is scheduled to stand trial in that case next February.
