Tribute for 2nd Anniversary of Prince’s Death Set
On April 21st, 2016 Prince died of an accidental overdose of painkillers. This coming April will be the 2nd anniversary of Prince's death and a tribute is being set up to remember him. The celebration of his life will be April 19th through the 22nd.
A fence will be set up in front of Prince's recording studio and home. The fence will display messages from fans and artifacts that Paisley Park has archived.
There have also been 10 more speakers announced for Celebration 2018. Some of those speakers include The Revolution members Bobby Z, Dez Dickerson and Matt Fink.
There will also be a concert at Target Center on April 21st at 8PM titled Prince: Live On The Big Screen. During the concert fans are welcome to place their own messages on a fence that will be erected in the middle of the arena.
According to Target Center "the concert will feature newly remastered and never-before-released audio and video of Prince accompanied live on the Target Center stage by a super-group of musicians who performed alongside Prince throughout his legendary career."
