
UPDATE – Highway 52 Entrance Ramp Has Reopened
UPDATED - It took more than one large tow truck, but crews were able to put a semi-truck back on its wheels and reopen a busy entrance ramp on Highway 52 ink Rochester after it was closed for several hours today.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A crash involving a semitruck as force the closure of the Highway 52 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Highway 14 at the Civic Center Drive interchange in Rochester.
Reports from the scene indicate the truck flipped over onto its side while the driver was attempting to take the exit onto the Highway 52 entrance ramp. Multiple emergency vehicles are at the scene.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is detouring traffic onto northbound Highway 52 to 19th Street and then across the bridge and onto southbound Highway 52.
At this point, it's unclear how long the detour will remain in place.
