Trump Uses Minnesota as Example of Immigration Reform Failures

Portland, ME (Learfield)  --  Donald Trump used Somalis living in Minnesota as a prime example of what's wrong with American immigration reform.  

Trump and vice presidential candidate Mike Pence traveled to Wisconsin for an event last night (August 5). He will hold a Minnesota fundraiser later this month. He says Minnesota is having problems because what he calls the "state's safety net" helped create a situation for terror recruitment.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations counters by saying the Somali community in this state is a positive, offering a huge impact on the economy.
