Twin Cities Man Killed in Southeast Minnesota Motorcycle Crash (Update)
West Albany, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcycle crash in southeast Minnesota claimed the life of a Twin Cities man Sunday.
The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly before 4 p.m.
It happened near the intersection of Hwy. 60 and Wabasha County Rd. 13, which is about 12 miles west of Wabasha.
The state crash report indicates the motorcycle was heading west on the two-lane highway when it left the roadway. The motorcycle operator has been identified as 36-year-old Jeffrey Patrick Nelson Lakeville MN.
The report indicates Nelson was not wearing a helmet. Alcohol was not involved in the deadly crash, the report says.
The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Lake City Ambulance, Lake City Fire Department and Wabasha Ambulance also responded to the deadly motorcycle crash.
