Two Boys Airlifted After ATV Strikes Tree in Minnesota
Spicer, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two boys were airlifted from the scene of an ATV crash in central Minnesota Monday.
A news release issued by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office Monday night says the crash was reported shortly after 1:15 p.m. The crash happened at a rural property southwest of Spicer.
The crash investigation indicates the boys, ages 14 and 11, were operating the ATV along a gravel driveway when they lost control of the vehicle. The ATV then left the driveway and struck a tree.
The 11-year-old was flown from the scene to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis and the 14-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital before also being flown to Children’s Hospital for further care.
