Caledonia, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Houston County Sheriff's Office has released information about two fatal crashes that occurred in the far southeastern corner of Minnesota last week.

The first deadly incident occurred around 9 AM on June 17th on Houston County Road 13 southeast of Rushford. A news release says 19-year-old Seth Rolfs of Houston was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash. His passenger, 18-year-old Abigail Nation of Houston was airlifted to a hospital in La Crosse with what were described as serious injuries.

The second fatal crash took place around 5:30 AM on June 20 in an area several miles south of where the June 17th crash occurred. The Houston County Sheriff's Office says it was also a single-vehicle crash that took the life of 50-year-old Chad Stutzka of Peterson. He was alone in his vehicle with the crash occurred on Houston County Road 4 just north of Spring Grove.
