Orono, MN (Learfield News Service ) - Police in Orono and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office are investigating the deaths of two people.

Officers say the bodies of a man and woman were found Wednesday in a Lake Minnetonka area home. Dispatch received a call around 8:30 AM from a home reportedly owned by businessman Irwin Jacobs.

The Star Tribune reports the two people were in bed and a handgun was found.

The medical examiner will identify the victims and determine the official causes of death. Jacobs is a former minority owner of the Minnesota Vikings and once owned Grain Belt brewing.
