
Two Killed After Pickup Rear Ends Semi-Truck
Alexandria, MN (KROC AM News) - Two people were killed Tuesday in a traffic wreck in west central Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a pickup truck driven by a North Dakota man crashed into the trailer of a semi-truck that had stopped on the shoulder of I-94 in Douglas County.
The pickup was driven by 40-year-old Calvin Hess of Kenmare, North Dakota. He and his passenger - 39-year-old Myron Bishop of Thompson Falls, Montana - died at the scene.
Another driver suffered non-life threatening injuries after making contact with the pickup truck that ended up on the freeway after the crash.
The wreck happened around 6 a.m. near Alexandria.
