Two People Injured in Crash Involving MNDOT Truck in SE Minnesota
Dakota, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two people from Indiana and Illinois were injured in a traffic crash involving the Minnesota Department of Transportation truck in Winona County this morning.
The State Patrol says a man and woman, both 20 years old, were in a Jeep that was eastbound on I-90 when it collided with a MnDOT truck equipped with a crash trailer around 10:50 AM.
The incident occurred about 3 miles west of the interchange where I-90 splits from Highway 61 near the town of Dakota.
The State Patrol says the 23-year-old Eitzen man driving the MnDOT truck and his 51-year-old passenger from La Crescent were not injured.
Randall Kevin of Tinley Park Illinois and Arianna Soco of Hammond Indiana were both transported to a hospital in La Crosse with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
