Two Workers Injured at NE Iowa Public Works Garage
Northwood, IA (KROC-AM News) - An accident at a Worth County Public Works garage sent two workers to the hospital yesterday.
Authorities in the northeastern Iowa County say deputies and paramedics were called to the Worth County Secondary Roads Shop in Northwood after receiving a 911 call about an individual who had been hurt by a falling blade. A news release says 55-year-old Glenn Butler was taken to a hospital in Mason City with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, while 39-year-old Brian Wallin was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle with less serious wounds.
At last report, Butler was still in the hospital undergoing treatment.
