Unbuckled Driver Killed in Crash on Rural Minnesota Highway
Greenbush, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a fatal traffic crash in northern Minnesota this morning.
A preliminary report on the deadly incident indicates the victim was driving a pickup on a Highway in Roseau County when he apparently lost control and the vehicle left the roadway. The crash was reported around 8 PM just outside the town of Greenbush, about 35 miles north of Thief River Falls.
The victim was identified as 73-year-old Jarrel Killen of Greenbush. He was transported to the hospital in Roseau, where he died from his injuries.
The State Patrol report indicates he was not wearing a seatbelt.
