Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A total of nine people, including five children, were taken to St. Mary's Hospital following a two-vehicle crash near Rochester Sunday afternoon.

The State Patrol says troopers responded around 3:30 PM to Highway 52 where two SUVs traveling in opposite directions had collided at the intersection with 54th Street Southeast in Marion.

62-year-old Robin Vogen of Chatfield was driving a northbound SUV and had four passengers. They have been identified as three-year-old Jakob Busker and seven-year-old Jaden Busker of Chatfield, along with 35-year-old Jessica Vogen and 37-year-old Sonja Vogan, also from Chatfield. They were all transported in private vehicles to the hospital in Rochester with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The southbound SUV was driven by 39-year-old Dena Mathison of Preston. She had three passengers, five-year-old Scarlett, seven-year-old Maverick, and nine-year-old Porter Mathison. They were all delivered to the hospital by Chatfield Ambulance and the State Patrol also described their injuries as non-life-threatening.

The State Patrol says everyone in both vehicles was using seatbelts at the time of the crash.
