Vehicle Theft Investigation Leads to Rochester Man’s Arrest
Elba, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man is being held in the Winona County jail on charges stemming the investigation into some recent vehicle thefts in the Rochester area.
Rochester Police Captain John Sherwin says investigators obtained a search warrant for a property in Elba and located two vehicles that had been reported stolen in Rochester. Several guns were also recovered at the property. The man arrested in the case was identified as 31-year-old Mark Harmon.
Sherwin says Harmon is suspected of being the motorist who led police on a brief chase earlier this week in one of the vehicles recovered in Elba.
