nnesota News Network )  --  Detroit's Matt Prater booted a 33-yard field goal with 3:38 left in the fourth quarter to lift the Lions to a 16-14 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Detroit yesterday. 

The Vikings allowed a 14-0 second quarter lead slip away and a desperation Blair Walsh 68-yard field goal attempt with one-second left in the game was well short and wide left.  Minnesota rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was 31-of-41 for 315 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for the Vikings, who slipped to 6-8.

Matt Asiata and Greg Jennings accounted for a touchdown apiece in the loss for Minnesota.

Detroit QB Matthew Stafford threw for 153 yards and a touchdown for the 10-4 Lions, who now sit in first place in the NFC North.  Golden Tate had the TD grab in the win for Detroit.

The Vikings are at Miami next Sunday.
