Little Falls, MN (KROC AM News) - An area woman has been killed in a traffic wreck involving alcohol.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 86-year-old Dolores Mickow was a passenger in a vehicle that collided head-on with a car driven by a woman who had alcohol in her system.

The Patrol says 70-year-old Lana Nornberg of Little Falls was driving the wrong way when her car sideswiped a semi-truck. Her car then crashed head-on into the other vehicle that Mickow was riding in. It was driven by 52-year-old Patricia Gerchy of Bemidji. Mickow died at the scene. The two drivers were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The wreck happened around 4 p.m. Monday on Highway 10 in the Little Falls area.
