Warrants Issued for 2 Rochester Men in Felony Sex Crime Cases
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Arrest warrants have been issued for two Rochester men accused of felony sex offenses after they recently failed to appear in court.
Forty-three-year-old Ezequiel Rojas-Gasca is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct and two gross misdemeanor counts of malicious punishment of a child. According to Olmsted County Court records, Rojas-Gasca is accused of sexually and physically abusing a young girl beginning when she was around five years old. The criminal complaint alleges the abuse continued until she was 12 or 13 years old.
Rojas-Gasca was scheduled to stand trial on the charges next week but failed to report for a pretrial hearing earlier this week.
Another arrest warrant was recently issued for 29-year-old Moices Francisco after he also missed a required court hearing. Francisco is charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The charges allege that he sexually assaulted a young girl multiple times over a span of about two years. According to the criminal complaint, the alleged assaults occurred while Francisco was staying with the child and her mother at a home in Rochester.

The court document states that the victim’s mother threw him out of the home after learning of one incident but allowed him to return after he had stopped drinking. Francisco is accused of sexually assaulting the girl after returning to the residence.
Assuming he is apprehended, his trial is currently scheduled to take place in August.
