We Now Know If Minnesota Target Stores Will Be Open on Christmas

You know how that urge to have a Target Run just happens?! IYKYK. It's a legit thing and it has been proven that as soon as those doors open and you walk through, your world will be better.

Unfortunately, Target has announced that our Target Run experience that we desperately need is not going to be possible for one more day in 2024.

Are Target Stores in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin Open on Christmas Day?

When my kids were in that stage where naps and diapers ruled my life, Target became THE spot where I could escape for a bit. Ok, the time my daughter threw a fit for 45 minutes because I wouldn't buy her a toy wasn't the most relaxing day...but buy enough cute pillows and clearance and any day at Target can be paradise.

Target probably doesn't realize this, but many, many moons ago, I also worked for their company. If you've ever worked retail during the holidays, I'll sum it up for you...it sucks. I had very few days off.

There has been a bright side to retail in recent years though. (And no, I am NOT talking about the hot Santa Target brought out this year.) Companies are starting to jump on the trend of allowing their team members to be with family during holidays. Walmart was closed on Thanksgiving and just shared that they will be closed on Christmas Day this year. Now, it appears we know the plan for Target as well.

Is Target Open on Christmas Eve in Minnesota?

If you need to grab a few last minute items to help Santa out, Target will be open on Christmas Eve. According to their website, Target will be open from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2024.
